Ideal for rolling on the lower register, amazing feel, weight balance with mallet and shaft is great! Birch handle is a little slippery from the finish but easily fixed by sanding down. The large head gives off a really nice feel for rolling and general soft playing. Would highly recommend these mallets! Also prefer these mallets to the Katarzyna Mycka Professional Mallet Series from marimba one which are rediculously over-priced. Definitely buy these!
