Historical Sticks 'Wolferl' timpani sticks (pair)

This wonderful range of 'historically informed' timpani mallet is new to JAM.
The full range features mallets based on copies of those used in the time of the composers and were used in orchestras mainly in Germany, Austria and Czechoslovakia (as it was then).
All are beautifully shaped and turned to represent actual models in use at the time.

Made from Austrian Pear wood.

The 'Wolferl' is early Mozart approx 1756-1762

Found in Krems in Austria around 1700
Length 29 cm, Weight 32gr

An alternative to 'Wolferl'  is the longer and heavier  Wolfgang Amadé
32 cm, 43 gr
