Cooperman SD GCJ#2 snare drum sticks

Cooperman Graham C. Johns (GCJ#2) signature orchestral snare drum sticks. Made from persimmon wood. Lighter than the #1 model, the narrowing shaft gives great control in piano passages. Solely for Orchestral use.

These precision-made sticks are the first choice for Orchestral percussionists were designed by Graham Johns, Principal Percussion of the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic
They have a fantastic balance/weight ratio, are hand-finished in distinctive traditional line markings and matched by weight and pitch, with a weighted feel near the middle of the stick.
Please note that the colour of the wood may vary.

These lighter sticks are designed for the more delicate range of repertoire on snare drum in the orchestral repertoire. It is not advisable to use them for louder parts... and never on a kit!

For a fuller, richer SD sound in regular repertoire - look at the famous #1 model.
